Heart of Texas region sees slight decrease in unemployment
In our region, McLennan and Bosque counties recorded the lowest unemployment rate at 3.9%, followed by Hill (4.0%), Falls (4.4%), and Limestone (4.8%). Freestone County continues to remain the highest at 5.9%. The Heart of Texas unemployment rate is below the state’s (4.3%) and above national unemployment rate (3.8%).
