Child Care Services
CCS, an important program of Workforce Solutions, has three overarching goals. They are to:
(1) help parents pay for child care so that they may enter the workforce or complete their education/training,
(2) increase the professionalism of the early childhood workforce by providing curriculum, materials, and professional development and
(3) improve outcomes of our future workforce by increasing access to quality early learning programs designed to prepare children to succeed in school and beyond.

Applying for Child Care Assistance
Please complete the Standard Child Care Application if you need child care and are looking for a job, working 25 hours a week, and/or enrolled in school or training. Parents who need child care in order to look for work are eligible for 90 days of child care. Make sure you choose one of the first two answer options in question six (6) of the application. Child Care will end if parent(s) do not meet the minimum activity requirement after three month of job searching.
Please complete the Service Industry Worker Child Care Application if you work in one of the following industries: arts, entertainment and recreation; accommodation and food services; or retail trade. Parents working in one of these Service Industries may be eligible for a full year of child care with no parent fee. Common job titles within the qualifying service industries include: cashier, waiter/waitress, bartender, hotel desk clerk, ticket taker, usher, aerobics instructor, personal trainer, and more. Common examples of employers include: gas stations, clothing stores, supermarkets, restaurants, fast food, catering, hotels, movie theaters, and gyms.
