One-on-one assistance at waco libraries
Workforce Solutions for the Heart of Texas partners with local libraries to bring our resource room services directly to you! If you can’t make it to one of our Workforce Solutions Centers, you can receive the same services at Waco’s East and South libraries on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Meet Hope Olvera
Hope Olvera is the Career Specialist you will meet with if you decide to visit either the East or South Waco Library. Hope has worked as a Career Specialist for Workforce Solutions for the Heart of Texas for two years, and she is eager to assist you with your job search needs.
“I like helping people,” said Hope. “I find joy in helping them find a job that they will enjoy going to or even making their day better by helping them with simple information or tasks such as working a computer.”
Hope provides assistance with the following:
- Computer skills
- Creating and/or writing a resume
- Creating, updating and/or using a WorkinTexas.com account
- Online job searches
- Online job applications
- Unemployment claims
