Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve

Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) is a Department of Defense organization that promotes the awareness and compliance with the Uniform Services Employment and Reemployment Act (USERRA) through education and consulting services to employers and military service members. They also provide informal mediation services when necessary to resolve workplace issues related to an employee’s military obligation. The ESGR’s three primary programs inlcude employer outreach, military outreach, and ombudsmen services.
