Unemployment Insurance

The Texas Workforce Commission handles all unemployment insurance claims by telephone using Tele-Serv. Tele-Serv is an automated telephone response system that makes your claim filing faster and easier. Tele-Serv allows you to request payments using a touch-tone phone by calling a local or toll-free phone number.

Unemployment Insurance Claimants - ALERT:

Without Congressional action, Extended Benefits payments will end on June 5, 2010. The Texas Workforce Commission will continue to pay benefits remaining on current Emergency Unemployment Compensation claims. Please continue to request payment every two weeks as scheduled in case the deadlines are extended.
