Skills Development Fund
Workforce Solutions, with the assistance of the Texas Workforce Commission, administers the Employee Development Fund program, which provides state funds to directly respond to the workforce needs of Heart of Texas employers. When a single business or consortium of businesses identifies training needs, an Employee Development grant can fund the creation and implementation of targeted training through a community college or other training provider.
