Project RIO
Approximately 98% of those sentenced to the Institutional Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice return to the community. Ex-offenders need employment opportunities to help support their families and to become contributing members of the community. Project RIO (Re-Integration of Offenders) offers employers benefits for hiring an ex-offender and assists ex-offenders in their job search.
