Parents can make child care arrangements on their own with licensed providers, Group Day Homes, or Registered Family Homes not in the network, or with a relative of the child. This is called Self-Arranged Child Care. Family members that may be eligible as a Self-Arranged Provider include the child's grandparent, great grandparent, aunt/uncle, or sibling.
Self-Arranged Child Care Providers are not employed by Workforce Solutions for the Heart of Texas and are not eligible for any benefits. The child care arrangement is an agreement with the parent and the Self-Arranged Child Care Provider.
Your Self-Arranged Child Care Provider will be asked to:

Your Self-Arranged Child Care Provider is assigned an account representative. If your provider has not received a Service Delivery Summary (Form 2455-A) by the end of the month, and your service has already been approved, please contact your account representative. Self-Arranged child care providers use Form 2455-A to monitor, document, and submit attendance of a child enrolled in Workforce Solutions for the Heart of Texas’ child care program.
