How to apply for assistance
Child Care Services helps income-eligible families find and pay for quality
child care. You may qualify for financial assistance if all of the following apply:
- You need child care in order to work, attend school, or receive training
- Your household meets the income guidelines, which varies depending on family size. You can view the Child Care Assistance Eligibility Card on our downloads page to see if you qualify.
- Your child is under the age of 13

Financial assistance is limited and not everyone who qualifies will be able to get it right away. Frequently, we have to place families on a wait list. For more information about the Child Care Wait List or to see if you qualify for financial assistance, you can visit your local Workforce Solutions Center or call a Child Care representative at (800) 772-2269 or (254) 296-5361.
